I need your opinion on this.

So this user posted a question and is now pretty much in an argument with me. I know, rare right? me in an argument? Doesn't normally happen. I just need to know, not who's side your on, but what your opinions are on this. Thank you.

Don't worry, Boo. You won the argument, she didn't know what she was saying.

I know you don't want me to say what side I am on, but I will anyway;

I do agree with you. I feel like that user was an idiot for stereo-typing the whole anti-gay community (could you call it that?) as homophobes. If she wants people to respect her opinion (I would have if she hadn't used that word), she should be more kind and explain a bit more. It's irritating how she is telling them not to be anti-homosexuality, while at the same time labeling them as "too afraid of homosexuality."

*sigh*

Ok, thanks. I just didn't want you to be biased or anything about the whole argument, that's why I didn't want people to say what side.

I agree with you all the way.

Though I would say that I'm unsure about people 'deciding' to be gay. I know what you think, but I don't think the decision they make will be pernament and so I'm unsure whether they should actually be counted as gay...the thoughts a bit rough right now, give me some time and I'll pad it out.

Otherwise, I'd say I support your view. Not everyone who dislikes gay is a homophobe, and apathetic people (like you) most definately aren't!

Yeah, I was just pretty ticked at that user so I'm not sure if I was thinking or not when I typed that, lol.

I dont really talk about touchy subjects (homosexuality, racism, discrimination, etc.) but I will say this: Why do people in general only care about gay people getting bullied? I mean, they don't deserve it, and it has to stop, but what about others who get bullied who are not gay? Do we just forget about them? Selectiveness is just as bad as discrimination.

I totally get you with the whole selectiveness. It's like how everyone makes a big deal out of gay suicides, yet there are many other people who kill themselves or attempt to and aren't gay, yet don't get the whole big awareness deal that homosexuals get.
