I couldn’t have prepared myself enough for how deeply consumed I would become with reading Edward’s Diary. It’s been absolutely heartbreaking reading the black book with the red ribbon wrapped around it. The one from before Edward met me.

I’m not ready to post one of his diary entries yet, but one quote from what I’ve read has stood out more so than anything I’ve read so far in his diary -more than anything Edward has ever said.

i don't know why i say alice anymore, i think now i write these emails to myself, to secure me that you were real, that you all were , that he was.
There is evidence that you were here. and was my best friend. But sometimes i dont know wheither i was dreaming or not, But i stop that thought to think again, if it was a dream and you diddnt exist,then how did i know your name, or did i make you up, along with every one else. Hey guys, thanks for all the support on the first chapter, i'll try and make chapter 2 a bit longer. This is the second time i'm writing this, because my computer froze last night and i lost all of my writing!!! I'm not sure if it will be as good, well hope you enjoy it anyway.

i woke.if you called that sleeping. but i diddnt want to move, i was too shocked to move, like i couldn't, paralized . again.
Jacob said that he wasn't going to leave the house after last night, had givin up to continuing carrying on about the scent.
i jsut sat back ,and diddnt reply. i couldn't say a word. my face was numb, my whole body was cut off from me.
i knew that me acting this way would give concerns to jacob, but that diddnt matter now. i believe that after seeing Carlisle that Jacob knew who was there last night, but was too afraid of me to ask what happened....

I should have mentioned it to them… all of them. I didn’t want Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper or Baylor to become angry with me, so I didn’t tell them of my plans to let Charlie know about what I’ve become. Alice, Esme, Edward and of course Carlisle were the only ones I told.
After Edward called Carlisle to come help with Charlie and his fainting episode, Carlisle then called Esme at the Cullen house to let her know he would be late, and briefly explained what had happened to Charlie. Esme was on the home office phone thinking no one could hear her when...

Emmett wiped back with a large needle.
oh god, i dont like the size of that needle. I graped onto Edward wrist.

Charlie has been home for a couple of days now, and his recovery has been smooth. Renesmee has been visiting with him often, she really knows how to bring a smile to his face. He loves her.
The feeling in his arm is coming back much faster than expected, and his infection is completely cleared up. He does however, have to remain on antibiotics to ensure the infection doesn’t come back.
I’m so proud of Charlie. I have never given him the credit he deserves for his incredible ability to overcome tribulations in life, and walk away with a smile on his face....
