The reason why this one bugs me the most is because when a woman is pregnant, it's not just about herbody anymore...it's also about the baby's body. It's not about one life, but two.

I appreciate that people want to protect women's rights, but when you have a new life inside you, nothing should be allowed to take it away. As a mother, you have the privilege and responsibility to protect that life and nurture it in every way you can. IMO, destroying life - or the potential for life - goes against so much that being a woman is about.

Some might see it as being a mere "baby incubator", but I dare every one of those people to try and do from scratch what women can do - create a miracle.

Exactly! And what would those "women's rights" promoters say if they knew that the baby was a girl?

So the mother can have her own rights to her damn body, but the baby....being a completely separate individual....can't have the right to his/hers??

They all annoy me.This one at being the most.Yes, it is a good thing for having rights for women.But they do not think about the baby!There is another human being living inside of them, and all they care for is their choice.What about the baby?Shouldn't it have a say on whether or not it has to die?Women who get abortions are just simply selfish.And cover up their murder by saying garbage like, "My body; my choice!".

If you watch a video on Youtube called The Silent Scream, you see a baby's pathetic attempt to escape abortion.It is really heart-shattering.Who cares about the mother's choice?To me, she's not a true mother if she wants to kill her child before it even gets to live!Its life has not even begun outside of her...and she's going to end it for selfish reasons.Like saying maybe she just wasn't ready to be a mother.If she wasn't ready, then at least put it up for adoption, not end its life.

The government is NOT trying to control your bodies. It's trying to protect the body growing inside you (or at least, it should be).

They all annoy me. It's not just the body of the mother. It's the body that the baby is sharing because she wanted to do the deed and can't own up to the fact that she got pregnant in the process. There are other ways to get rid of a baby than to kill it. Second is the bunch of cells. Technically, the adult mother is just a bunch of cells too so why don't we kill you too! Third is the saying that it's not a baby until it's out of the womb/things are developed, etc. Those people should just...UGH! They disgust me. I love how it's okay to refer to it as a baby until you descide to kill it. FREAKING HYPOCRITES!

This one is stupid. SHE chose to have sex without a condum or birth control! It's very selfish to be irresponsible like that an then kill the baby. The baby has no say, it's just a baby. SELFISH.

This one seriously pisses me off. They're all about the choice, so (excluding rape victims obviously) wasn't it HER choice to go out and get drunk/high (or maybe she wasn't even drunk/high) & make herself vulnerable enough to have sex? How can the thought of being pregnant out of wedlock NOT worry some people?

Oh but no. The fact that SHE made the choice to go out and have sex should mean that she should accept the pregnancy that may come from it. Seriously, how hard is it to expect people to actually be responsible and take care of themselves?

They have so many precautions(the pill, that ring thingy, a condom) With exception of Rape victims it's their own damn falt. If your having sex and aren't on the pill or taking other precautions it's their falt.

the Cell and Life don't = baby is dumb too but the women's choice reason is just like saying "Whatever I'll do what I want" attitute What would it be next. Her denaying the "father" a patrinty test because she messed around but if it is his and he wants to be the Daddy, does he get a choice????

they all annoy me but especially the whole her body her choice really she made a choice to have sex knowing she had the potential to get pregnant. Once pregnant she has a responsiblitly to her child to keep them safe she made her choice

I chose this one because it's probably the most often used of the pro-aborts' bumper sticker slogans.

Okay, all of them but this one is just downright stupid. The first page of a biology textbook will tell you that the cell is the basic unit of life. Same argument for the second excuse- a "clump of cells" may not be a baby to you but my gosh, it's a living being.

I think its the fact they say, "its just a bunch of cells" but they aren't! they are God's creation!

This one and the one about the woman has a right to her own body. I was going to draw out my elaborate opinion, but you guys have covered it. Though, I still have a couple things to add.

Even when it comes to rape, I think abortion is wrong. I know the woman didn't want the baby and I'm sorry she was raped, but the baby shouldn't be punished for something it, and the mother had no control over. Even if she doesn't want it, it should still be given the chance to live. To run. To hold. To laugh. To love. To hate the child because of its DNA is wrong. To abort it because you can't stand to see it is selfish. No one's asking you to hold it and love it. Just give it a chance.

The only time I agree with abortion is if the mother's life is at stake. Like if she had a wreck or something while impregnated. But only if it is necessary to terminate the pregnancy to save the mother. That way, the mother can live on to hopefully have more children.

Additionally, our biology teachers have taught us all that the basic unit AND building blocks of life is the cell. Yet a clump of cells isn't life? I fail to see the logic.

It makes me sad... the devaluation of human life.
