Don't you agree that being nice ALSO means not saying Gods' name in vain, such as "OMFG"?

Yeah I believe you're right! I think that generally swearing isn't nice even worse when you swear in God's name (I'm not that religious but I still don't like it.)
After all people can use "OMG" or "OMSH" there is no need to say "OMFG".Truthfully I may not be that offended if I hear it but that doesn't mean that it doens't annoy me! =/

i do my best to not swear. and i almost never swear around girls and women. but i will admit when im watching or playing sports and my teams loosing i can go off lol.

yes i agree.ima christian so i try not 2 say omg or anfin,so i say omgsh/omfgsh,even tho it loks a pit naff.but if u do say it,its not as if u hv ur hand upon the bible screaming up to heaven OMFG

...Mmgh...*thinks* Well, in all honesty I am generally nice cause it's my self being. I feel easily guilty and I am christian so i'm constantly being overly nice actually, I hate cussing cause it leads to no meaning of maturity or sense of serious intentions such as raising a family, going to church, or going to work. They don't talurate it, but even if they did i'd not cuss anyways, it's against my moral values and so being nice for me means that I just rly want to be a good person ^_^

That depends on your religion (although if you're saying God, then I guess it's obvious you believe in Him; or else why say it?); yes. It's disrespectful and shows that you don't think highly of the one who created you and gave you happiness.

Even if you don't believe that saying God's name in vain is a bad thing, it's common courtesy because someone else might. It is considered being nice to use His name properly, it helps you not to offend others.

Yes. I'm a Christian and I don't like to swear at all. Though I do say the initials "OMG", I never say, "Oh My G**" and I always replace it with "Oh My Gosh" or "Oh My Goodness". And that text slang you're talking about is definitely one of the worst and when people say God's name in vain and put the F word in the phrase, it makes me cringe.

Is there not a thing called freedom of speech? Well it is up to you what you think but i personally think it dont matter.Also I have noticed that whoever has answered this question by not agreeing has been told off by someone who thinks otherwise. Dont be mean to people for their opinion.
