no a male assaulting a female is worse than a female assaulting a male. A male rape is treated more seriously then a female rape and so many more crimes where the male gets the worse part instead of the girl and even in schools when Emma punched me in the face and i punched her back i got wrong because u cant hit girls but u never hear don't hit boys so it is not equal if u want to keep saying girls are just as strong as boys then treat both genders equally because basically saying boys are strong girls are weak and don't say it is equal either it is all equal or it is not truly equal!

There is still a long way to go -- just think about the fact that men get paid better than women to do exactlyt the same job.

Andrew, the reason you hear about more men raping women than women raping men is because men raping women is MUCH more common, just like men physically assaulting women is much more common than women assaulting men.

Women also technically get paid less than men almost everywhere.

Girls are treated as weaker than men because physically, most are. Although that's obviously not true in some cases, it's true in most.

I think, Andrew, you are bit biased because you are a boy (i might be biased because I am a girl), but it is pretty obvious to me that women and men are unequally treated in favor of men, not women.

Well, we have reasonably equal rights these days but men have very different personal expectations. Like girls will fall for a guy who isn't that good looking if they like his personality but boys tend not to do the same for girls (some do but they're the exception rather than the rule). Also, I've noticed that people will comment on a female politician or writer's appearence more than they do for men, even if they are saying equally intelligent things.

But you just said up there that you punched an "Emma"? Plus, girls are not fragile. They may be physically weaker muscle-wise (in most cases, not being sexist, it's just the way humans are built), but I don't think men could handle childbirth.
And women do get paid less, in just about every position.
The reason male rape cases are more severely punished usually (I'm not saying it's right) is because it is so frequent. 93% of rapists are men.

Even in Britain Andrew, a woman is still paid less than a man in near enough every job there is.
Women are biologically weaker, and I don't really agree with women hitting men, but physically, we are going to do a hell of a lot less damage to you, than you'll do to us.

There is discrimination both ways. There are still remnants of all the old injustices for women (prejudice in the workplace, less pay, etc.) but there are new prejudices against men; for instance, preference is always shown to the woman in a lot of court matters like child custody and sexual harassment.

And I get really annoyed with some women who say men and women should be equal, so they expect all the rights that men have, but then they also expect men to open doors for them, pay for the meal, etc. You can't have it both ways.

andrewtubman, why are you on this spot if you aren't a girl?
No one was "patronizing" you or "talking down" to you, she was just stating her opinion just like you were stating yours.
Plus that was very hypocritical of you to talk about punching some girl, and then saying you would never do it.
Please go to the man spot or something...

It's sad to say in the 21st century that there still isn't equality between men and women, and it isn't just in the workplace or the courts, it's in the classrooms, teachers who make little sexist comments as jokes, who only ask the boys to clean the board because they don't want us to break a nail, who consider us less intelligent than the boys. I don't know about other schools, but my school certainly has a long way to go.

well, it depends on which country you're from, but at least in norway people like to think so. but when you take a look at for example how much money you get for working as for example a teacher. even though the female and the male teacher has the same education and they work as the exact same teacher and teach the same subjects, the male gets more money for his work. this is not fair!

this gets me angery because we should all be treated equally for example in my P.E class our coach seperated us boys vs. gurls and the boys were saying how weak the gurls are and how there gonna win and this is gonna be a fast game but that is just talk ..... talk that should even go out of peoples mouthes because women can do as much as men can ...... back to my story ...... sure enough karma came back and the gurls won the dodge ball game so guess wat guys this isnt the olden days men are not the rulers of womens lives anymore!........ remember this is my opionion

no, both genders face inequality and discrimination, that's why they need to abolish feminism and work on equalism; women don't get payed as much in alot of jobs in comparison to men, in some countries women are considered inferior to men, that needs to stop and so does discrimation against men who get longer prison sentences and face things like harsher consequences for doing to things to women than a woman would if she were to do that same thing to a guy.

equality my ass.
