opaquemystique I've never heard of nor seen this show, it looks interesting. I can tell it's eighties because of the lady's hair :), the hair in those days were quite distinctive, haha. On to the wallpaper, it's nice. The background looks sort of Christmas-like (which is a good thing). Just out of curiosity did you make it yourself? Or did you find it off the internet? The font is fitting for the theme. I'd also like to point out that-as a wallpaper maker myself- you did a nice job in removing the background from the picture of the two characters. I can tell because of how some of the edges look, it's quite difficult to remove it, so kudos for that :).

TheCountess Thank you yet again! I'm so happy that you like it! :D You are indeed correct about the time period. This version of the tv series first aired in 1987. I just got season 1 of the series on DVD last Thursday, and watched the first 4 episodes this past weekend. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it, and seeing it again inspired me to create this. As for the background, part of it is a cropped, re-tinted, and slightly distorted version of an image I found on the internet. The decorations on the left are something I created though. You're also correct about how difficult (and time consuming) it is to remove all of the original background. All together, this is 4 images that I integrated and added wording to. From start to finish, this one took me about 8 hours to make.
