Bully a bully can be anyone in any shape or size. And race or religion, you name it. Bulling is a thing that we go through. For when as soon as we walk are first steps into school we step into a life. A life full of harsh and sharp pointed words.
Every day girls and boys are threatened and even more isolated online. And words can follow you home. Put your self-of steam even lower than before. But there is help. There is always help. Help could be your friends or parents even your school members slash staff. All you have to do is talk and tell them what is going on. It that easy! Or even talk with your councilor.
But first of all you most know the facts of bullying & harassment. One people who bully and harass others are often looking for power. Two bystanders are people who see and or/ hear the bulling incident, but do not step in. Three in the long run, who is effected by bulling and violence? Everyone…. Four direct bulling and harassment mostly involves physical actions. Five the bully starts the bulling and plays the leader role. Six followers do not usually initiate the bulling but take part in the behavior. Seven people who step and do something to stop bulling are called interveners. Eight cyber bullying includes posting pictures of people online without their consent. And finally nine the purpose of indirect bullying is often to isolate the victim.
Situations of bullying can be physical, verbal, and relational bullying harassment. If situations weren’t enough. Bulling can often lead to teen suicide or suicide.
Suicide is the 11 leading cause of death among teens. Two real life situations at home could be factors. Examples could be parents going through a divorce. And the other parent moving away out of state.
Myths lead to problems in suicide prevention. That if you talk about it, it would be considered a bad thing. Or when depression is gone that they are norm.
Warning signs of suicide: suicide threats, direct and indirect are teen depression. Obsession with death, poems, essays and drawings that refer to death, dramatic change in personality or appearance, irrational, bizarre behavior, overwhelming sense of guilt, shame or reflection. And for at last changed eating or sleeping patterns.
What to do when faced with a suicide threat: No talk of suicide should be taken lightly. It indicates the need for immediate professional help. Any suicidal gesture, no matter “harmless” it seems, demands immediate professional attention.
So please put an end to bullying for it leads to suicide. And ending it saves lives. So speak up and make a stand.
    With love your friend Brittany.
