I really like Courtney and Erika too but after watching the movie. I still prefer Tori and Keira.

They are nice as friends.

I guess. I haven't seen Rock'nRoyals, but I think I know where the plot is headed and it looks far more interesting the PATP.

Courtney & Erika's relationship is nothing special. They are better when they are with their own friends. Agree with May, Tori & Keira is a good team.

Tori and Keira were awful role models, and they're annoying, also how the hell can two people become "best friends forever" (read the Junior Novelization) after having seen each other for... what, an hour? They're so childish, and very irresponsible.
Courtney and Erika actually had time to develop a friendship. And as individuals, they're not childish nor irresponsible. They perfectly know what their place is and the environment they belong into.
Courtney is a dutiful princess who puts her kingdom before fun, Erika is a serious rockstar/popstar/whatever who was looking for friends because she always felt lonely.
Can't you see the huge difference between the two duos?

^Well, I am very sorry that I mistakenly thought that this poll was asking about 'relationship' since there is the symbol '&' in it. So, this poll is questioning about which characters are better? Okay, thank you for making me to rethink but it seems I still choose Tori & Keira. First of all, neither of the two is a Mary Sue (yes, I am pointing at Courtney and if you want to know why, I'm considering to write a review article). Second, both Tori & Keira's characters are more memorable and appealing to me though you have said that both of them irresponsible and blah, blah, blah, etc. At least those traits are their trademark and I have to be honest, I don't mind characters with bad personality. Sometimes, that what makes a character *a* character, if you get what I mean. Last, both of them change to become better. Tori learns to be responsible about her kingdom and Keira finishes her task.

And that, y'all, is why I prefer the Junior Novelization over the movie. I'm still bitter about the story being changed. It had way more depth, and Tori and Keira truly learned their lesson.

Tori and Keira's bad attitudes cannot be tolerated. They basically have the same personality but in two bodies. Courtney and Erika have differences and that is why they completed each other and the movie.
