Big book cover for "Barbie: a fairy secret" 

Sigh. This may sound really dumb, but has anyone noticed how they are kind of pushing Teresa out of the picture? I mean, Diamond Castle they had her with a big role and everything, but after that it seems like she's slowly ebbing out. Christmas Carol- Nikki plays Barbie's bff. Not bad at all- Teresa just had a starring role; it's Nikki's turn.
Thumbelina-not featured. Eh, so what- Barbie was barely in it.
3M- takes a role, but is one of many.
MT- second best friend, Fallon (Nikki) seems to be Barbie's best in this one
FF- no idea. Barbie and those pathetic flairies hog the ad.
And now this. Sorry, and I know it's kinda wierd, but it seems like Summer, Nikki, and Raquelle are slowly taking Teresa's place. And Teresa has been Barbie's best friend for a long time! Grr.

I like Teresa.

I'm kind of surprised that none of Barbie's other friends (Teresa, Summer, Nikki) are getting mentioned here. Why does she have to team up with Raquelle, exactly?

I can see what you mean, and it is very annoying, but it's hardly the first time it happened. Anyone remember Barbie's friend Midge, who was her best friend since the sixties? She was my favourite, and she never appears anymore. It would be a shame if this happened to Teresa as well.

Probably because Raquelle is "new and exciting." I agree completely- they make up new friends for her, and then soon as that friend is "old hat" they toss her out. What about Christie, who mysteriously was replaced by Nikki????

This is really strange. But didn't Teresa play Viveka in 3M? And we have a new movie in the fall. Girl Alecia, which is in the photo gallery, vaguely reminds me of Teresa.
About the upcoming movie is still too early to judge. It seems that Summer will be played a Raquelle, according to the red hair ... And who is this brunette in the far corner of the cover?

If you mouse over the little cutout squares in the pic, it tells the names of those pictured. Teresa's not one of them.

There's also a square over Barbie's necklace, and it description is something about "Barbie's cereal jewelry!" Haha, so true.
