Because he’s physically bigger and stronger enough to fight another stag and a whole group of dogs(while his fawn version needed a cliff to hold off one dog).
He also, had great moments like his romance with Faline or even escaping the forest fire with his dad.
Plus, we’ve seen to much of young Bambi for the past 75 years. I sympathize that the adult certainly needs better support.
