This is the last flashback chapter. The first time Saba and Iron will sing together. Balto and Saba have "The Talk." You'll have to see the end of this. I don't own Universal Studios.

Iron was all but too thrilled with what had just happened. Balto's daughter, Saba had asked him to meet back up with her the tomorrow at high noon for a singing session. To young Iron however, it may as well have been a date.

This was it. The chance of his life to spend just a little time with the girl of his dreams, he was going to make his move. Suddenly, Iron realized he overlooked one important detail....

"I CAN"T EVEN SING!!!" Iron cried out. Indeed, he did forget that out of all his family, he is least musically talented. He was so "into the moment," he forgot why Saba asked him out in the first place and thus, the reason why he might not get to see her tomorrow. Iron let out a grieved sigh as he hung his head in defeat and drug tail against the ground.

Iron reached the security of his home when he was greeted by his sister Gold. "Hey Iron, you're looking mighty upset about something. Care to tell?"

"I really don't." Iron rolled his eyes as he just flopped his body to the floor.

"For once, something's troubling you and it's not me. This is odd." Gold scratched her head.

"What do you want, Gold?" Iron asked growing impatient.

"I can't believe I'm saying this." Gold hesitated. "But I actually want to help you. Normally, you come home feeling alright and I'm the one that screws up your day. But today, you come home with your day already screwed up. Something's not right and I want to help you out. So just tell me what's bothering you."

"Well, I met this girl today." Iron started, choosing his words carefully as to not mention who the girl was, for he knew well the fued between his family and Balto's family.

"How cute." Gold pointed out. "You made a new friend, she must be real pretty."

"Believe me, you have no idea." Iron replied. " She wants me to sing with her tomorrow, a private music session."

Gold began to laugh. "She wants YOU to sing?!" Her laughing became uncontrollable. "THAT'S how you know she just met you."

Iron grew very angry. "This is serious!"

"I know." Gold replied. " So am I. Anyone who knows you knows you can't sing worth a-"

"GOLD. Will you help me or not!?" Iron barked.

"Of course." Gold smiled. "Here's the solution. It's a very special method." She leaned towards Iron to tell him the solution to his problem. Then she blasted into his ear "TELL THE TRUTH!"

"ARE YOU CRAZY?" Iron frowned. "That'll make her mad!"

"Anymore mad than you not showing up to her tomorrow and letting her think you stood her up."

Iron thought. "Oh. Yeah right. Thanks."

Gold puffed herself up with pride. " You guys should be happy to have a sister like me to do the thinking for you."

"Guess you're right." Iron smiled. "Thank you, Gold."

"I'm your sister, Iron. I can't let anything take away my job of giving you a hard time." Gold smiled and walked back through into the halls.

The next day at noon, Saba was sitting waiting for Iron to emerge. She grew disappointed that he did not come. She let out a sigh, but before she turned to she heard a voice cry out her name. "Saba! Hello?"

Saba turned to see Iron sniffing for her. She wagged her tail and giggled for she thought it was cute. "Hey, there you are."

"Yes Ma'am, here I am." Iron responded as he puffed his chest out. Suddenly he remembered what he came to do. " Saba, I have something I need to tell you."

Saba listened and tilted her head.

Iron sighed. "Actually, I think it would be better if I showed you." At that moment, he went straight up to her and howled. His was so high pitch and off key, a passing moth died in mid-air and dropped to the pups' feet. "I can't sing." Iron was closing his eyes and waiting for her to attack or scold him, but what she did completely took him by surprise.

Saba, appreciating Iron's honesty, licked him on his right cheek. " Thanks for not standing me up."

Iron, hearing that, remembered his sister's advice. "Thanks Gold." He said in his mind. Then, he looked up at Saba. "Worst thing you've ever heard, huh?"

"Not exactly." Saba eyes lit up. "You didn't sound as bad as you think. I've heard worse."

Iron laughed. "Nah. Really?"

"As long as you sound better than my dad, you're good."

Iron was shocked. He never would have thought that Balto, the dog that saved Nome, was a terrible singer. "Balto can't sing?" He thought to himself.

"Sure, you're a little bit off key." Saba eyes then lit up. "But, it's nothing that can't be helped."

"What are you talking about?" Iron was puzzled.

"Just let me do my work." Saba winked. Iron felt her massaging his throat. What a feeling this was. First a kiss on the cheek, now, a throat massage, all of it coming from SABA! There was no doubt about it, Iron was on cloud nine for a moment.... and then that moment ended.

Out of nowhere, Saba stomped right on his right paw, causing Iron to howl in pain. This time, however, his howling could have sounded more savoury and sweet. Iron took a step back. "Girl, what did you do to me?"

"Fixed you." Saba wagged her tail. " Now, show me what you got."

Balto was seen tracking his daughter's scent the town square of Nome. "Why does she always do this? There's all kinds of creeps here." Suddenly, he caught the scent of his daughter. "Saba." Then he caught another scent. "WITH A BOY?!?!" Balto flared as he raced to Saba's location.

Saba was caught in her music, this time, she dragged someone else with her.

(Saba):
"We're hot on the wire,
We have a special fire,
That never gets tired,
And the flames only get higher."

(Iron:)
"We're a special team that'll go far,
Shining brighter than any star,
Baby, anyone who knows us,
Know that special spark is ours."

Just as the two finished each their notes with a howl, they opened their eyes to conveniently find one staring into the eyes of the other. What happened next took Iron by surprise. He saw Saba close her and lean towards him. He knew THIS was his chance and he just had to act on it, so he immediately closed his eyes and did the same. Luck was no doubt, smiling on him, and then luck died.....

The two pups opened their eyes to find that neither one was kissing the other but, to their disbelief, a giant gray muzzle that appeared right between them. They looked to see that the gray muzzle belonged to none other than Saba's father, The Great Balto. Iron felt his tail hug his stomach as he tucked it between his legs.

"I'm sorry." Balto began. "Was I interrupting something?"

"Yes." Saba said irritably. "Dad really, go away."

"I will." Balto replied. "But not before you and I have a good talk." Balto then turned to Iron. "Son, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

"Yes. Of course, Mr. Balto. Sir." Iron gulped as he bolted in the opposite direction.

Balto turned his head back to his daughter. "Saba, we should have a talk."

"About what?"

"About boys." Balto sighed.

This takes place after Wings of Change. I don't own the films. This will focus on Saba.

It's was another winter in Nome, Alaska. Children were running in their coats playing with their dogs, on a snow covered beach were three red adult Alaskan Husky-Wolf hybrids. A large male named Dingo, a slender female named Saba, and a another male named Dakota, whose red coat went through the bridge of his nose.

"Cold air we have today." Dingo sniffed.

"Dingo baby." Saba laughed. "This is Alaska. Snow, Sun, rain, or shine, the air is always cold.

"Oh."

"Bet you feel dumb." Dakota teased as he dug through...
