I don't know if this is just me, but when I'm dancing, I feel alive. And not just that but I feel free too. I can communicate thoughts, ideas, feelings, to the audience and other dancers without uttering a single word. I know that sounds a little cheesy, but please tell I'm not the only one. inica55, I'm 14 now and i was on pointe from 13. If you think you're not ready, join a pre pointe class or something. But if you do, talk to your teacher beacuse he/she will know best!!!! My teacher told me after 2 months in the pre pointe class to stop because I could go on pointe!!! Posted over a year ago

Blisters, bruises, ugly feet, falling, failing, being yelled at, competition, and plain old pain...They're all wonderful reasons to stop. But the grace, elegance, beauty, and feeling of accomplishment make it all worth it.

i am secretly jealous of balerinas i used to do ballet when i was little and i wanted to continue with it but my parents wouldnt let and now 10 years later i am a fat clumsy teen when i could have been a pretty thin graceful ballerina. i can kinda walk in point shoes but thats all. but some ballerinas im not jealous of like the stupid anorexic b**** ones who think their better than every one Posted over a year ago
