It's got it's good points, but honestly is going to be an insurmountable task, considering B2F is one of the holy grails of the film industry, and though one of the most successful films of all time, no one has dared remake it. So it is going to be an uphill battle if to convince a studio to even look at a script without a major blockbusters in your credits. Not to say you shouldn't keep trying, but know the path. As far as the teaser, I wouldn't really show it much... it kind of comes as off as a youtube spoof, and doesn't really help your pitch. It does convey your premise, but the production value just can't compete with what a studio is looking at would be a doing a $150 million production.
As far as the other things, I think you should proceed with your documentary, even if your doing it on the side, I think there is a market in for the conspiracy theory genre (which is what it would fall under, but that is a good thing...those do huge on Netflix). I personally don't raise money for films. I am hired by productions that have already done that, so it is out of my talent pool to start from scratch. But I wish you good luck on your ventures and projects, I always believe in aiming for the top! So best of wishes.
