Avril Lavigne Covers Dixie Chicks on Mandolin

Avril Lavigne recently learned how to play her mandolin and she decided to show off. 

The pop-punk singer-songerwriter shared a video on Instagram boasting her mandolin chops. The caption reads: “I’m so stoked I figured out how to play my mandolin so I learned a Dixie Chicks song!!! And I can’t stop playing it !!!”

Part of the same hangout, Lavigne also posted a photo with her ex-husband Chad Kroeger, from Nickelback. Lavigne is smiling, holding her mandolin while both she and Kroeger are on the couch. In September of last year, Lavigne had announced on Instagram that they would be separating.
