Avenged Sevenfold Announce Midwest Mini-Tour With Volbeat, Killswitch Engage + Avatar
Welcome back Avenged Sevenfold. As you’ve no doubt noticed if you’re an Avenged Sevenfold fan, the band has been announced to headline several festivals in the coming months. But the group has just expanded their touring to include a mini-tour through the Midwest in September with some pretty impressive support acts.
The five-date run will include Volbeat and Avatar on each of the dates, while Killswitch Engage is expected to play select shows out of the five newly announced gigs. The tour launches Sept. 12 in Bonner Springs, Kan. at the Providence Medical Center Amphitheater
Other stops on the run include Grand Rapids, Mich. (Sept. 14, Van Andel Arena), Toledo, Ohio (Sept. 15, Huntington Center), Fort Wayne, Ind. (Sept. 20, Allen County War Memorial Coliseum) and Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 21, Bridgestone Arena). See those stops along with Avenged Sevenfold’s full itinerary here.
Head here and use the password AVENGED beginning June 22 at 10AM local time to get in on the pre-sale. Public on-sales for the shows start June 24 at 10AM local time.
Avenged Sevenfold have been working on new music and the upcoming album will be the first to include Bad Religion‘s longtime drummer Brooks Wackerman. Wackerman was revealed as the band’s new drummer in 2015 after the group revealed that they had parted ways with Arin Ilejay.
