You guys have no idea how much I'm fighting over the storytelling and philosophy.

Pretty much everything on here is equal and all contributes to the sheer awesomeness that is Avatar: The Last Airbender. The animation got better and better as the show progressed, although it was already awesome to begin with. I like the mix of anime and western animation styles. This showed a lot in the fighting, and I liked that. The mixture of different philosophies from different parts of Asia made the culture really deep and believable. As for romance, Kataang for life. Enough said. And the music! The music is spot on! Whenever the opening lines are over, I always hum the tune that comes after. In fact, I'm humming along with every song that is played constantly through out the series!

But the storytelling wins. It's beautiful, well done, and as far as can see, no major plot holes that would ruin the show. From beginning to end, the story is wonderful. Even those little fillers are awesome! Although they don't drive the plot forward, they're spent doing an excellent job with world building and characters! If you can make a filler episode work, you're a good storyteller.

TheLefteris24: That's pretty much my list :D Except I would switch music and fighting scenes. I often like referring to ATLA's music as God's work of art. It's amaaazing.
