So I'm a Gem that likes a Sagittarius male . . .

So I like this Sagittarius male at the moment and he knows. But before he fully knew, we always made eye contact. He's a full blown jokester and is very open and not shy at all and my friend told him to talk to me and he said he needs my number. My friend told me that he likes keeping dating stuff private but the day he was gonna talk to me is when I was accidentally playing hard to get :/ he kept following me but again being shy and he was trying to play it cool and he was asking people that if they like me or knew me. He kept trying to approach but he does it in a way that it looks like he's not trying to talk to me. Idk if he's trying to observe me or what. Is this what happens when a Sagittarius is in love? Do they tend to act way more shy and out of character?
