Ashley Tisdale Revealed What Happened To Sharpay’s Wardrobe After ‘High School Musical’

If you were a fan of “High School Musical” at the time of its release, you were most likely obsessing over Ashley Tisdale’s (AKA Sharpay) closet. Now, almost 10 years later, we have great news: Ashley still has all of those clothes — and is perfectly ready for the resurgence of 2000s fashion.

While discussing her new gig as Creative Director for T-shirt company Signorelli, Ashley dished on the infamous character’s fashion.

“I invented some of [the outfits] in the movies — I would take a skirt and wear it as a tube dress, and it became a staple outfit, which is so crazy,” she told PeopleStyle. “I created the character through her clothes. I wore the dress with pants underneath and a belt and it was this one specific moment in a movie. It’s so funny how the stuff that you have so much fun with in a fitting actually happens and it becomes a part of a culture phenomenon; it’s so weird.”

And like most of us who hoard all of our old clothes, Ashley kept Sharpay’s wardrobe thinking she would find another time to wear them saying, “Because I was just so into clothes, for some reason, I thought I’d wear her clothes again, which I never did.”

Well, there’s still plenty of time, and upcoming trends, for her to wear them. Never say never, Ashley.
