King and Queen of Camelot

An account of my day on set being an extra in Bradley's new film 'Fast Girls' by Noel Clarke



8.00am –Started the day with a breakfast provided by them – bacon or sausage in a roll, cornflakes, tea/coffee.

8.30am - Ready for our 10-hour shoot. Then we were taken to the holding area where we were ushered to our seats.

The only complaint (which my daughter went on and on about ALL day) was the fact that we had to keep taking our clothes off. In the email we were told to wear warm clothes because it was cold and yes, it was cold. Then we were informed that the film was set in the Summer of 2011...

    Much to her surprise, Arthur helps her clean up the kitchen, drying dishes for her and attempting to figure out where things go.
    “Just set them on the table, Arthur,” she laughs. “I’ll put them away later.”
    Gwen takes his hand and leads him back to the living room. She finally spots where her knickers landed, and bends to pluck them from the magazine rack with a smirk. She ponders them a moment, and walks to the bathroom and tosses them in the hamper rather than putting them back on. I have a feeling...
