If I could imagine a lovestory that I'd like and that I think could be suitable for Artemis it would be this: she's the young lover of an enemy of Artemis's but she's good and smart, she had no idea of what kind of person her lover is. She soon begins to realise that and understands that he lied to her from the beginnig and at that point she meets Artemis. I'd describe her similar to Vesper Lynd from 007-Casino Royale: bright, in some way dangerous, beautiful but not a delicate doll, with a stong character and an intense and magnetic personality (but blond just because it matches Artemis dark hair). She's maybe 17 and he's 16. I'd like Artemis Fowl books to become a bit more for grown-ups they're getting more and more childlish in my opinion. In other words, a young woman who can be at Artemis level in intellectual debates and clever in all situations, not a little spoiled mawkish French blondie who stamps her feet on the ground if something goes wrong. I imagine the first time they meet set in the Enemy's red-carpet party, she approches him revealing what her lover is going to do and Artemis for the first time unable to speak because of the vision of her in a evening stunning gown. She can teach Artemis something about real life and real feelings. Add a sad past and a boiling passion at the first sight and we'll have a worthy partner for our hero who has to grow up a bit sentimentally speaking.
What do you think? What's your version?
