Artemis Fowl Question

Should I or should I not...????

I just got my copy of The Atlantis Complex (it was delayed in releasing here) and i have been waiting and waiting soooo anxiously for this book but now that i have it, i don't know if i should read it or not...

I came here to see the reviews and even though i didn't read the spoilers, what i got from most people is that this book is not really upto Eoin Colfer's usual standard's and is not like the previous adventures... i guess we all were expecting soooo much after TTP that maybe it hasn't lived up to the expectations...

So will i be disappointed while reading it? should i still take the plunge and finish reading it??? I am a really really big AF fan and i don't want to be horribly let down, please help!!!!

I'd read it. No, the book was not Eoin's best. No, it was not the usual Fowl story, but in and of itself, it wasn't bad. It wasn't a horrible let down.

As to if you'll be disappointed . . . well, I guess that depends that depends on how high your expectations are.

I'm also a huge Artemis Fowl fan so when I read the Atlantis Complex I was a bit disappointed, but it turned out to be quite funny. Different than most of the other Artemis Fowl books, but still a very good book. So if you want to read it go right ahead, but be warned: the book ends on a kind of cliffhanger.

I agree that the latest book does not exactly measure up to Mr. Colfer's usual standards, but I did, however, enjoy it. I would recommend that you read it, and then decide whether or not you like it.
