I have a lot of favorite anime characters, but Vash is most definetly up there was one of my favorites. He's freaking awesome! He's like the Scarlet Pimpernell of Trigun. He acts like an idiot when secretly he's a freaking genius and a powerful fighter. Not to mention he's the good guy! lol He risks his life all the time to save everyone else, whole towns are spared because of his courage. Vash not only is awesome, he's a plant. Made by humans to power their airships, before they crashed on the desolate planet they are now on. So he's been alive for hundreds of years. Awesome! Love and Peace! ;)

Grimmjow's my favourite because I love most anime characters with personalities like his, for example Hollow Ichigo and Kazeshini from Bleach (same anime as Grimmjow). I also love his expressions, most characters have a small range of expressions, rarely changing it, but his is changing almost constantly. As well as that I just love his eyes and that psychotic grin of his, and I also love his name, it's unique and suits him perfectly xD

He's super smart, funny, insightful, hot, and overall a total BADASS!

If you wish for me to explain why this is so, I will. ^ ^

However, since I've repeated the same thing about this character, sooo many times, I will copy and paste it, from one of my articles:

Mello has been very hard-working, from the start, but sometimes his brashness and aggressiveness that comes along with that trait can rub a person the wrong way. It did me, initially, I'll admit. He, clearly, has a very horrible inferiority complex, and this has lead to as much as his entire life's path being, basically, ruined, and to the distortion of his true personality. Surprisingly, he's very well-spoken, insightful, and knowledgeable. The short novel spin-off of Death Note, "Another Note", is narrated by Mello, and you get to see this new side of him. This helped me get around to understanding his character, and changing my mind about him, and I think that it could do so for others, as well. He has a very good sense of justice and understanding of people, at heart, but it can't be denied that he did quite bad things, all from his personality flaws. Sadly, Mello never came to know someone who truly cared about him and understood him, but he really needed it. Mello was incredibly alone and pained, throughout his entire life. Near seemed to care about and understand Mello, but I think that he knew that Mello could be too stubborn to listen to his proposals, and also, saw that it was a disposable matter, in comparison to the Kira case. In the end, Mello almost saw the truth, and came close to accepting it. There was no "game" or true "competition". Defeating Kira was what was truly important. Even Near thought, to himself, something along the lines of "Mello, you always forget about what is truly important". Mello could have been a brilliant detective, and gone far in life. Him and Near also could have been close friends, with time. I believe that they were meant to work together, all along, and that L would have wanted that. I think that the path his life took, and all that he endured, the tragic person that he became, was absolutely heartbreaking. He was misunderstood, hurting, lonely, tragic... I think he was a beautiful character, actually.

Shinichi is a high school detective. He has very high intelligence and is very good at soccer, one thing he uses as a weapon against criminals.
He is very kind and is protective of Ran and those very close to him, after he was shrunk by the Black Organization. Why protective? Because he knows what will happen if the Black Organization finds out he's still alive. He can speak a few languages, English is included. The bad part is when he sings. He was always accused of being a tone-deaf. But that is because Shinichi cannot sing on key in the slightest. He has perfect pitch. I like it if he solves first. He's a great character. So there's no reason he's underrated here besides the fact most of you don't know him. He's overrated outside Fanpop.
