I love the type of anime with lots of action and blood(RuroKen, InuYasha, Ranma 1/2.)Also things like Death Note, mystery, abnormal, blood......more blood. Chibi parts are funny as well as parts that get so awkward you start laughing like you're hysterical

I guess the Japanese are just really creative in these things.
They make good storys and lovabel characters.
And the art styl is just awesome.
I mean come on...where can you find a pink haired guy in the non-anime shows and don't think "That's weird"? In the anime it's almost expected XD

For me because anime comes in many shapes and forms it's not just one type of plot and story there's so many great characters and it comes in shoujo,shounen and it also helps me with learning new languages but that's beside my point-I love anime because of it's interesting plot line,structure and many have great character development there's so many things to like about anime!

I don't particularly care for the considerably "mainstream" types, such as Naruto, Bleach, or any Shonen series, for that matter. Those are the types that lead others to assuming that all anime series have the exact same plot, and in truth, they don't. They are some really creative and excellent series that I have seen. There is any type of anime that you can think of. Generally, the plot and characters in an anime are better than real television, in my opinion.
