i dont like sailor moon is to girly
Love the action part of that anime ♥♥
To be honest I cant stand Inuyasha either!! :P
BUT I HATE BOTH
For me, both the main female characters are annoying and weak, but the fact that the Sailor Moon girl cried for at least 1/5 of the first episode pissed me off a lot. I guess Sailor Moon and I just aren't to get along.
I also find the transformations very boring. I was watching the transformations of the Sailor Girls (sorry, no idea what you call them) for animation studies, and I find them way too repetitive. All the transformations for each character was the same, and they spent almost 30 seconds on each transformation. For a person who likes action, I find that a waste of time.
While I dislike Kagome, I do find the later characters acceptable. I have fallen deep for Sesshomaru, and have come to like Kagura & Kanna a lot. I have also come to accept Kagome one way or another, if only because she brings happiness to InuYasha (Also, she's really peppy and cheerful and optimistic, take that as a compliment).
I love the creations of Rumiko Takahashi-sensei, and I really do find her works interesting. But if there's one thing I dislike about it, it's the fillers. A series that can be finished in 50 episodes, dragged on to 193 episodes. While I like fillers and like breaks from all too series plot points, too many fillers become boring.
Though I must admit, overall InuYasha is nevertheless in my top 10 anime list, and it's an anime I'm willing to rewatch. (At least, the important episodes, as well as Kanketsu-hen)
I must say that I see the two anime in very different categories. One is a classic shoujo, a mascot to the anime world, mostly recommended to young girls. The other is a shonen with a strong vibe of romance. Popular inside the world of anime, and well known to anime fans, but not to those who remain ignorant to anime.
Though nevertheless, they are both very well created anime, and I think that people with open hearts would like both.
