@SmolKitten What I was meant to say is one single character, not multiple.

Shuichi from Gravitation almost managed to do that and I came close to dropping the anime, but I decided not to because of the characters I liked.

Also, it took me a year to bring myself to watch Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Legend Star because of my hatred for Haruka Nanami. I wish Tomochika - Haruka's best friend - had been the protagonist instead of her because Haruka is killing the anime for me.

I've never disliked a character that much before.

Any emotionless character as the main has ruined it. There are some expectations. However, for the most part, I can't stand following and going from the perspective of someone who doesn't have anything interesting to say.

I've disliked characters but never enough to stop watching an anime because of them.
