Higurashi and EL both made great horror series, but either I feel that many mistake violence / gore for "scares", or I'm just not easily scared. :P

It's fine to have fun shipping Hetalia characters, if you want to do so, but I, personally, don't see the appeal because I see the characters as entertainment for me. :)

CLANNAD and AB! had their few tragedy bombs, but the main theme executed throughout both series was friendship and overcoming obstacles that hinder you, emotionally and mentally. I think that seeing the characters open up to one another was very sweet.

I really don't feel like explaining, once again, why I liked the second half of DN more than the first. If you want to know, here: link :p :p :p

I agree with this one the most =) But also the Higurashi/Elfen Lied, Clannad/Angel Beats!, and Hetalia one ^ ^ I don't mind people shipping Hetalia characters, but I just can't actually see anyone from Hetalia together. They're more like one big family to me! ^ ^

Yah it is silly! Especially the Yaoi pairings those are the worst!

People go way too far with this one that if you were to look at the yaoi fanbase, then watch an episode, you'd be shocked on how the characters aren't making out or smiling at each other in that kind of way.

I understand why he would be annoying to the characters. I mean, they traveled all that way to find this THING that won't shut up. To the fans, I thought everyone would think he was hilarious!

^That's how I feel about Excalibur. We don't have to deal with him, ourselves, so why not have a laugh? ^ ^

I also kind of agree with the Higurashi / EL one but only anime wise. Higurashi actually terrified me, manga wise. ^ ^;

The scares were thrilling first season, but after rewatch, they were pretty tame. (Higurashi)

also the excalibur one. for the death note one i wouldn't say more ENTERTAINING but still good, more interesting and thematically important than people like to admit. people were just to hung up on L dying to give it a chance. they were too used to the cat and mouse game rivalry the two had to appreciate the latter third of the show. there was also the argument that by Near calling him a run of the mill psychopath it undercuts the conversation of the line between good and evil... that was never in the show. no seriously the whole thing boggles my mind and i probably shouldn't get into it but guys that was literally not the point of the show. it was the spy v spy aspect for the first part + Light deifying himself with unwitting validation from L considering him a worthy opponent. and kasdfkljadslfjd. kato on youtube explained it better but yeah. I don't get the hate for the last third of the show.
