I was 12, when I first started watching Naruto on the internet that is when I discovered others then I've loved it ever since.

I've been watching Sailor Moon and Hamtaro when I was like 4 years old, but I wasn't exactly interested in anime itself, of course. I properly watched my first anime (Sonic X) when I was almost 12, and really became anime-obsessed when I was about 13/14.

Technically when i was 6 I watched Pokemon and yugioh but i started getting interested in anime when I was like 12/13

I was 4 Years Old when I watch Voltes 5 at Tosho Daimos

Well I was watching Pokemon when I was as young as 5 but I didn't really start to get into other anime until I was about 12 or 13~

sadly, i didn't know about anime until I was 18. had a lot to catch up on, no time for growing out of it when i had just discovered it.

I found out about anime when I was 10, but I only got interested in it when I was around 11 or 12. :)

I was watching Pokemon since I was 4, but I didn't know t was an anime. The first anime I watched, where I knew it was an anime and what got me into anime was Fruits Basket. I was around 13.
Then my uncle gave me one of his manga to read. Moon Phase was my first manga, then I read the one manga of Fairy Tail he had, next was D.N.Angel, and Trinity Blood. All started after that, after me and my sister watched D.N.Angel together, we just kept watching anime.

I found anime when I was 14 cause people in my school would hate on people who like it so I said how bout I try it so I went on Netflix and watched the first 1 I saw High School of The Dead and I got hooked

My interests first began in second grade when my art teacher had a drawing book titled 'Anime' on it (I thought it was pronounced "Ah-neem"; I didn't know the art book taught a Japanese cartooning art form! I thought it was the neatest thing to draw ever, and I clearly remember actually having my mom call up the local art class building in our town and ask if they had 'ah-neem' drawing class... how embarrassing! xD;;

I found that the style was similar to Pokemon, which I got into the following year as the Charizard on the front of the FireRed game was just like the little animals that were in my art teacher's book! I started collecting the games, the cards, but I didn't like the show for some reason...

Later on, I finally learned how to pronounce the word 'Anime', and maybe 6th grade was when I first watched Lucky Star and Peach Girl on Youtube (In 3 parts!), my first ever two anime. Which led to watching AMV and MAD videos, and around that time I discovered Hatsune Miku (that was more around the end of 6th grade though.)

...And it progressively got worse from there. xD

I first started watching Higurashi when I was twelve.

In my first year of high school, so I would've been 13.

Although I watched Mew Mew Power at a younger age, I found Naruto in 4th grade and really loved it and looked forward to many more animes :D

Depends on what you class as anime, I guess. I used to watch Sailor Moon, DBZ, Dragon Ball and Cardcaptors when I was around 7, or so, but I just thought they were cartoons then and didn't know any distinction between anime and cartoons. I started getting into anime when I was about 18, though, and I began to watch Ghost in the Shell, as well as a few others. But, I really started getting into anime about two or three years ago, once I had seen Bleach.

I remember bringing my Tokyo mew mew books to school and getting scolded for it!

Then getting home to watch Full moon wo sagashite!

I quickly swapped those 2 for Samurai deeper Kyo and Death note though. . . . . . .I was an odd girl X)

I was in 3rd grade when i got into Anime. And i loved Anime ever scence than. And i am in high school now still watching Anime.

Besides "Pokemon", which I liked that show when I was 8, my "real" first Anime encounter was when I was 14.

I adored Pokemon when I was younger, but having no idea it was an anime. It was just last year when I really got into it. After I watched Death Note, actually. lol

when i was six. i was at my sisters friends house and she watching naruto so i got hooked on it, and yeahh eventually found out it was awesome xD

I was 11.

When I was 13, I first became interested in it by looking at art in the booklet for one of my Kingdom Hearts video games. Until I was the age of 14, I would scavenge the internet for any anime drawings/pictures that I liked, and practiced illustrating them, but never actually watched one. Well, that didn't go so well. x)

At 14, I tried out Death Note, which had me wanting to view every single series I heard about, at that point. =)

Pokemon, Digimon, Sonic X, etc. xD
