I have to agree with EmoSasuSaku.
I myself have never cared much for Shoujo but I absolutely adore Josei.
My overall favorite manga demographic is Seinen but I would say a close second would happen to be Josei. :)

Either way works,rarely every go by genre,Josei is good-it's just I've read more Shoujo manga and Furuba is my all time favorite manga which is Shoujo so it seems like Shoujo has the edge for me..

I prefer to read Shoujo from the two, i don't think iv read much Josei. I should try to read more Josei though.

^ big actually! Read somewhere! I can tell you that josei is aimed at for age 18-44! It's much more adult like then shoujo! While shoujo is super romantic and unrealistic, josei is more life like! It has much more drama, tragedy... Read josei manga and shoujo manga and see they are diffrent in a way. I prefer Josei because of those reasons... If anybody can explain better then me then please do!
