I like anime because they're fun to watch not all of them are the same,it teaches me a different language (mainly Japanese),many characters are really likable (well I think so anyway) and the different types of animation in anime is so cool too..there's just so many things that propel me to love anime.

Because most anime's are for mature audiences unlike cartoons except family guy and such.

Anime is the best!!!! Who would hate anime, it teaches you many stuff and... yeah. I don't like harem or ecchi anime. They're sucks (my opinion). I love romantic comedy and slightly action anime like Inuyasha and naruto. Anime is much better not only the animation like how they draw and it is much more emotional. I watched kobato, Fullmoon wo sagashite and clannad. It made me cry and catoons never make my feel so emotional. Sorry My english is bad. Anyways, anime is the best. i am an anime lover

@bubbleface No they don't. You just haven't seen enough of either the harem or ecchi genre.

And I don't give a rat's ass if it's your opinion. Why should I, when you're too stupid to spell "they suck" correctly?

I dnt like Ecchi anime's too. ^.^ I even dislike Yaoi and Yuri. I said DISLIKE,not hate. Sorry yaoi fans! Dnt kill me! >o<

I decided to add a middle-ground choice so that people who like both anime and american cartoons like I do won't get left out.

I made G.I. Joe the icon for the choice because, even though it's an american cartoon, it uses animation outsourced from Japan (in G.I. Joe's case, the animation is provided by Toei), a practice that was common for cartoons back then, and is still used even today for shows like the new Thundercats.

I like both anime and cartoons but I do prefer anime for the most part.

Anime is amazing! Unlike the cartoons that I have seen, anime is more informative, demonstrative.
@AiSherryChan I love yaoi but that doesn't mean that I will kill you. Because based on your username, you're a Detective Conan fan. I love it more than any anime or cartoon.
