Although the animation follows closely to the Japanese art style, it is in fact Korean. Both the Last Airbender & Korra came from American aurthors but had the animation done by Korean artists. :)

It's done by Korean artist but they could've done Japanese or Chinese.

If it doesn't decend from Japan and it's not dubbed into english then it's not an anime to me.

It's animesque, and it's the Japanese definition of anime, but it's an American cartoon.

Ok, to all those who say its "like anime" but says "Its not anime since its not made in Japan" you have caught yourself in a contradiction.
