Anime Question

honestly and truely, what is anime to you and the people who watch it?

to me i honestly love anime cause it allows one to escape reality and it can be on whatever you want really. also to the people who watch it, i feel that even if we all don't know each other (even if you've only seen one or two animes) i believe that we are kind of all like a family just cause. that's the feelings i get from anime, cause for anyone who watches it even after just a few conversations its as though you can understand the person perfectly!:) i think anime is a beautiful thing that bring this huge group of people together just to watch it!

yeah ur right it links everyone who watches it, though to be said if u watch a film and someone else watches the same one u can link in the same way. i love anime and it is a great way to escape reality, it also opens up ur mind and helps u think clearer, its like reading a book and improving ur vocabulary, admittedly i dont know how the spell perfectly but i know the words i and i can use spell check lol. anime is just a great way to relax, and is a great subject to talk on as u can talk about animes u have and haven't seen and ur fav parts and so on

I couldn't agree more. The story lines allow a lighthearted look at the philosophies and lives of others without prying too much. The dynamics of anime and the otakus that watch them are unlike anything else. Otakus around the world get exposed to wonderful fun stories and deep political beliefs that they are free to discuss. Anime is my teacher, my friend, my rival, and my family.
