Pandora Hearts, people know about it but because the anime sucked it didn't get as popular as it should. The manga is AMAZING if only the anime could have been as good.

That was the one that I was thinking about when I was asking this question
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. A lot of people either dislike or don't talk about this anime, but I found it pretty enjoyable from what I'd seen. It wasn't the best ever, but I think people tend to undermine it a bit.
