Anime Question

Has there ever been a character that has done terrible things but still love?

I know I have!
Some examples would be Izaya from Durarara!!, Obito fromNaruto Shippuden, and to some degree, Light from Death Note.

Izaya Orihara is definitely one of them. My 2nd favorite anime character <3 He is a terrible person overall, but his evil and playful attitude is mostly why people love him or hate him :3

Shogo Makishima, in spite of what he has done to numerous people, he is still awesome because of his belief that humans should act based on their own free will and how he detests a system which controls people

I'm gonna have to agree with just about everyone and say Izaya as well.
Also, Lelouch from Code Geass, Light from Death Note, Johan from Monster, Envy and Pride from FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Akito from Fruits Basket and... I shouldn't say this... I shouldn't... I didn't finish the anime for a reason...

Definitely Naraku from InuYasha. I love the man to death, but he has done SO much stuff. He's one of the best anime villains though, AND my ultimate favorite anime character of all time!

Airi Yūnami(At least in the Qualidea Code anime)
She, like the other Unknown, had initially thought of human children as tools, but came to consider them family.
She was also the one who gave Gutoku the scars he had in the second episode.
I really wanted her to live and redeem herself instead of dying.
