Toboe from Wolf's Rain. He died protecting the man who had been trying to shoot him the whole series. His love, compassion, and forgiveness for humans is astounding. Their double death was seriously so shocking (and then all the rest of the characters T.T)

You know her father.... He was so gentle... he never ever hurt her, he didn't do anything wrong! but he was buried alive, he couldn't breathe... oh why did shirley's father have to die?!

(I'm sorry its just that the speech is just so freaking heartbreaking)

on a side note though Shirley didn't deserve it either
