I've been watching anime since I was like 2 and I want to get my mom on board the anime train too. What are some animes that will HOOK her? Like the walking dead the anime or something...
it really depends on what your mom likes. There's all kinds of anime shows, whether she likes horror/comedy/mystery so try looking into those genres I guess??

She loves no I mean LOVES the walking dead anything like that will suit just fine like suspense anime and who is your profile pic???
hm she might like Another!! It's mystery and pretty violent, that's the only thing I can think of closest to the Walking Dead (besides Highschool of the Dead, which is about zombies but it's also basically hentai soo lol). And my profile pic is Ayato from the Tokyo Ghoul manga
and your mom might like Tokyo Ghoul too, I just don't like the anime bc it's pretty censored heavily compared to the manga. So idk search some anime that's like that.....also good old Death Note could be something she'd be into maybe ^^;
aw.....she didn't like it? Whaaaa? Ok try Tokyo Ghoul then (but it's fairly new so there's only like, 8 episodes so far and there's a new one every thursday). Also she could like Zankyou no Terror which is also new, but eh I dunno.
you go on the "photos" tab in your profile and you can either upload a picture (it gives an option to make it your icon) or you can simply press the little person thingy button underneath an existing pic already in your profile :-)
It's hard to get parents on board the anime train...
But my mum watched an anime from start to finish and absolutely LOVED it. That anime was Death Note :) So I'd really recommend you get your mum to watch that one! Mum still talks about Death Note from time to time and she watched it a good year or 2 ago xD
