Anime Question

Post an anime with a love story that doesn't end with them just getting together but continues with having ups/downs, a wedding, children, and/or family life.

I recently saw Itazura na Kiss and I absolutely loved that the anime was only half done when they got together and then the rest was their crazy life together. It was such a cute and sweet breath of fresh air seeing a "real" relationship that had a lot of ups and downs to it. I can only think of one other anime that did this as well (and I bet I see it in the answers). Post ones you know that takes the couple though life... or at least some trials.

An anime like that would be like The Story of Saiunkoku season 1. Cause Shurei doesn't want to become Ryuki's wife or anyone else's wife. She wants to be a civil Official.

Saiunkoku Monogatari is such an amazing anime! And it has some of the most complex relationships i've ever seen in anime. Shurei is such an amazing inspiration to follow your dreams and to work your hardest to see them come true

I knew I'd see Clannad :) Great choice! It's the only other anime I can think of telling the story of falling in love, marriage, jobs, children, and yes a lot of life's hardships.

Hahaha this anime sounds funny and yes crazy! And I don't think it's one that I would normally pick out because it looks overly cute (does that make sense?). Thanks for listing it, I'm going to have to check it out too. Sounds fun

If you mean the art style is cutesy then yes?? The show itself isn't what I would call cutesy so if you're interested definitely try watching the first episode!

yeah cutesy was what I was going for in that explanation. And I have a really bad habit of judging these type of styled anime, but I've seen some incredible ones too. I'll have to check it out, Thank you!

Yeah, well, till now I also haven't seen a better anime than "Itazura na Kiss", regarding a real development. Maybe You should also try Nana link
This also a pretty deep anime about relationships and development in life.

I still need to watch Nana. What's funny is that some of my favorite anime quotes come from Nana and I haven't even seen it yet. "People are only what they think of themselves."
