Anime Question

Post an anime character who you believe had better character development in the manga than in the anime.

Elizabeth Midford from kuroshitsuji/black butler. In the anime, I always found her to be more annoying than anything else, and constantly getting in the way. But on the manga, it went alot deeper into her backstory, and her love for Ciel. And, she also happens to have a badass side in the manga.

Almost every character in Rosario + Vampire, but mostly Tsukune. In the manga's second season the story gets more serious - the complete opposite of the anime, where every female character is almost plain fan service. Tsukune was the damsel in distress type of character in the anime (maybe because he was the only human in the school..). In the manga, however, he slowly starts to act more like...a badass?

Basically the entire cast of Fruits Basket. Not only were everyone's back stories revealed, Yuki gained both confidence and a love interest, Kyo completely cooled down, Kagura matured and realized the true reason for liking Kyo, Momiji grew up and started to behave less childishly, and don't even get me started on Akito... Even Yuki's fan club president took a good look at her behavior. You don't get any of that by just watching the anime.
