Phantom from MAR: Marchen Awakens Romance. My first two thoughts of characters were already posted, and the deaths that made me bawl for hours actually had to happen. But Phantom, no. Just. No. They could have found a way around it, or had it so Phantom could have removed the curse. You do not give a character a tragic backstory, have them lose their only friend, slip into depression, and then kill them. And the way he died.... UGH!
