Anime Question

An anime that makes you feel nostalgic or brings back good memories?

I know many animes that make me feel nostalgic like School Rumble, Fruits Basket, or Lucky Star, my first three animes ever. But last summer, I watched Lovely Complex, Angel Beats, and a few others. Last summer I also graduated from 8th grade and got to spent nearly the entire summer hanging out with my friends, family, and I met new people. Watching this anime brings back awesome memories from that summer.

However, they also had some child-friendly dubs in the kid's section. I quickly noticed a connection between foreign names on the back of the box, a specific art style, & cartoons that didn't insult your intelligence. Anime for the littlest of kids didn't shy away from things like death, bullying, & unhappy endings.

The "child friendly" part was a bit of a joke. One of the Unico movies has a pedophile in it who died a greusome death by being impaled on a rooftop, & the Little Mermaid committed suicide at the end.

Once when I stayed home sick from school and had nothing to watch I found my old links of the episodes on my computer and so many old memories started coming back <3
