Anime Question

Animes that you feel are underrated, the ones you think "no one's even heard of this series."

*King of Bandit Jing. I fing this anime is great back-to-back with Kino no Tabi.

*Master of Mosquiton 99: A comedy about a rich breat, a werewolf girl, a vampire, 7 a Frankenstein monster.

*Goldfish warning: An absolutely adorable early 90s comedy, to which my avatar is from.

*Eden's Bowey. I can't really explain why, but if I could watch any anime outdoors, under palm trees on a hammock, this would be the one.

*Magical Play: Despite being cancelled, it's one of the most interesting comedies I've ever seen.

*Gokudo: Swordsman Extraordinaire: It's basically a Rule 63 version of Slayers.

*Heroic Legend Arslan: Still pissed about the different voice cast for the 4th video, but it was my introduction to BL shipping, even though it's not actually BL.

*Gokusen: I challenge you to find a funnier school comedy.

*Marmalade Boy: Hetero romance bores the snot out of me, yet I could not stop watching this.

*Photon: The Idiot Adventures: The dubb is the epitome of "so bad it's hilarious." It's hilarious, guys...You will choke on air so hard.

*Colorful: I'm not a fan of ecchi, but this is pretty damn funny; it punishes perverts mercilessly. It's also random as hell & it messes with your head. You could say it's a bit unpredictable.

*DiGi Charat: One of those chibi anime comedies where each episode is 5 minutes long, but it works here. This actually has multiple series & they're all alternate universe to eachother....Nothing beat the original series.

Bakuretsu Hunter (Sorcerer Hunters): Popular back in the VHS days, but forgotten by time. this was the first anime I saw that pandered fanservice to male & female viewers equally.

Pretty Cure. No matter where I go I never meet any fans of that series. (Probably because most of the fans are in Japan and are really young. Like, little kid young :'( ) It's an amazing series with only a few fans. I can't believe nobody notices it.

I don't think it has such a small fandom. I may not have started the anime myself but I know tons of people on tumblr who love it!

-Black Cat (Train and Eve are relatively iconic characters in the world of anime, but far more people know about them than people who have actually watched this series.)
-Shiki
-Blassreiter (I haven't even watched this one yet, but I can already tell how little its appreciation is.)
-Noir (I'll admit that this one is quite mediocre, but it's still down there with the most little-known series of its time.)

Detective Academy Q.

The story of five kids/teens: Kyuu, Megu, Kinta, Kazuma, and Ryuu. The five of them all want to become detectives and enroll in the famous Dan Detective School. The five meet during a special case and are all later sorted into a special class: Class Q. They are then sent on mission after mission to learn how to become detectives, as well as combat other societies working against them.

I love this anime because it's plot twists are legitimately surprising and the characters are interesting. The idea of a school of detectives solving murder cases isn't exactly brand-new (though it may have been at the time), but it's not just a typical shounen or shoujo with stock type characters and plots. The rest of the fanbase and myself were able to experience a really good mystery anime, however, it never even got a dub licence, and I don't know if it even got professionally subbed (I've been watching a fan sub this whole time.). I hope more people will enjoy this anime and it will get a continuation and/or a remake~
