Nurarihyon no Mago. I'm not sure what the official genres are but I'd guess it'd fit into fantasy, supernatural, action, adventure, shojo, shonen.
FMA(I only watch the original, but Brotherhood's good)
Ao no Exorcist
Fruits Basket
I like Shingeki no Kyojin too.
Is it just me or is there a strange # of devout fans watching both Attack on Titan and Fruit Baskets? No? Just me?

Top 2:

Slayers: Saw this in 1995 or 1998...I can never remember when International Channel aired it. To this day, it is still an all time favorite. It's also very well dubbed & has a phenomenal soundtrack. It also has a bunch of mangas, movies, OAVs, & 5 anime series.

Hunter x Hunter 2011: In 2001 I saw the fansubs for Hunter x Hunter 1999 & it was my favorite at the time. The remake knocked my my socks off. It has some great live action musicals & soem kickass movies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Contenders:

Gensoumaden Saiyuki: In all honesty...This anime needs to be remade. I realized that after watching the phenomenal Saiyuki Gaiden OAVs. Regardless of that, Gensoumaden deviates in an interesting way with the nifty anime-only character Homura. Reload had a lot of funny moments. However, the whole thing follows the manga very poorly & Reload felt really dumbed down.

Master of Mosquiton 99: Doesn't get to be on top because it's kinda short, no one has scanlated the manga, & the OAV is an unsavory Alternate Universe story where characters have different personalities, like a movie based on a CLAMP series.

GetBackers: Not included because the anime only covers half of the manga & the manga ending really pissed me off...& it was such an awesome read too...

One of the reasons I'm such a bitter person is because after 22-24 years (can never remembered if I got my first anime in 1989 or 1991) I STILL only have 2 favorite series. Since they're both from the 90s, it's not surprising that I have a low opinion of modern anime.
