The two most exciting animes I have seen are Digimon: Xross Wars & Code Lyoko! Mostly Code Lyoko!

fate/zero!! i finished both seasons in two days, i was so into it.

Fairy Tail, Katekyo Hitman Reborn and One Piece<3

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni & Another are what had me sitting on the edge of my seat. :)

Psycho Pass was pretty exciting...

There are plenty of others I find exciting too though.

[pictured] Sword Art Online (1st season!)- say what you want about this anime, it either gets over praised or beaten up, but when it comes to action scenes.... man this anime nailed it! And with the added suspense that the plays do die, the actual real treat of mortality, it was suspenseful. I flew through the series because I couldn't wait to see what would happen.
