Who or what is Haruhi Suzumiya ?

Haruhi Suzumiya is from the anime/manga The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. In the series she has acquired the powers of god and can make anything she wants a reality. She is quite imaginative to, for she ends up bringing to life a time traveler, esper, and an alien. Haruhi is also good at everything she does and finds the clubs of her school to be a bore. So, after talking with the boy that sits by her in class, Kyon, she decides to make the S.O.S brigade, in which she goes to solve mysteries throughout the city with. The people who are in the club? None the lees but the creatures she imagined in her head!(and Kyon of course) the only thing is, she can't know who they really are, or that she even has these godly powers!

There's a section in the series called the endless eight where the same episode repeats eight times, just watch the first and last one. Also, make sure to watch the movie! It's really good.
