Black Girl Attempts Cosplay - Help?

What characters can a girl like me successfully cosplay without looking stupid? All my favorite characters are either blonde, ginger, or brown haired and I can't pull that off. Not looking specifically for black haired people, but anything that won't make me look stupid.

This Halloween, I was going to attempt Mikasa Ackerman, but what do I do next year? :/

Anyway, um....from your question do you mean you're black, or you have black hair? Or both? I'm kinda confused. .__. Either way, some people you'd wanna dress up as for Halloween might be Mei Misaki (Another), or possibly Hummingbird (Deadman Wonderland). Also, people usually get their stuff online, don't know where though. Sorry if I wasn't any help lol .n.

ohh so both. Well you can look for darker skinned characters, like that one girl from Bleach (idk her name cuz I don't watch that show) other than her I can't recall any black-haired darker skinned girls, so sorry ><
