Anime Question

Series that sound better dubbed than subtitled

Hetalia sounds better dubbed especially since, after all, the main characters basically personify each of the different nationalities

I prefer dubbed usually. So it would be easier for me to list ones I think are better subbed. But I'll go with Black Butler for the sole purpose of the name J. Micheal Tatum as Sebastian.

The very same goes for me here: I too usually prefer dubbed versions over subtitles anytime

Hetalia is the only one. I've been scarred from watching dubbed anime since anime I've seen as a little kid sound HORRIBLE dubbed.

You're not the only to feel that way. Others feel the same or similarly to u. So overall you're mainly a purist

Yeah. I'm mainly into subs. Why? More thought goes into the original voices than the last-minute dubs. Of course that's not always true, but it usually isn't far from it.
