Moon Phase is a comedy, fantasy, romance anime with vampires and action. It's about a photographer who always takes pictures of ghosts, but is "spiritually dense". He unwittingly stumbles upon a young vampire imprisoned in a castle and is forced to free her in order to escape. Moon Phase goes from "cute" to "serious and dark" quite a lot with the first half being more lighthearted and the second half more dramatic. Personally I loved this anime and the ending was extremely good for a first season. Although there are some plot holes that needed a second season to resolve. However, the ending doesn't leave you hanging as much as a lot of anime out there does.
