LOVE it! It's also my childhood anime, was very little when I watched it. Not long ago I re-watched it, and OMG it was amazing! It might seem not very graphic for this generation, 'cause it's a quite old anime, so you have to be willing to let that slide through. Because the anime itself is great! If you don't mind all that older stuff, you wont be disappointed re-watching it! It has many things most anime lack these days. Especially the great character development!
If you re-watch it, make sure you watch it in the original Japanese version, with the English subtitles. The English dub version cut out so many scenes, edited a lot and cut out some episodes as well... To the point where it doesn't even make any sense! That's because the original is not very kid-friendly (like a bit of violence, homosexuality... The English version even went as far as to change the gender of one guy to hide his gay relationship with the other guy... And made 2 certain girls into cousins and changed some of their dialogues to hide some of the lesbian connotations between them... And many more).
Anyway, it's amazing, really. The story is awesome, so pure and beautiful! The creator of Sailor Moon is indeed very creative... just talented! Even though the anime is old, it's still so interesting! Even though it can be predictable to today's generation, it still keeps you watching! Everything was done so greatly! The character development, the plot, the romance... I couldn't ask for anything more!
The manga is even better! The creator meant this series to be more for teens, but made the anime a bit more for younger age. In the manga everything was perfect! It focuses on the plot, has great character development, easy and straight to the point!
