well, it could be argued that Lucy is the main character of Fairy Tail. but the case could also be made for Natsu.

One more thing the Main characters are a boy and a girl if you watch the anime you will begin to notice the Character Haruhi Suzumiya has god like powers and the boy named Kyon who you see in the beggining of The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya episode 1 his name is Kyon well thats his nick name it he is haruhi Suzumiya's best friend. here is link so you can watch this anime linkAnd after you finish with both season 1 and 2 watch the Movie Called The Disappearnce of Haruhi Suzumiya here is link to the movie linkMake sure to watch all of season 1 and 2 than the movie ok.
