The most saddest/bloodiest anime death scene(s) you've seen?

(spoiler) Mine, I couldn't really choose, but it would be ALL the deaths in Shiki. Quiet sad and Gorey. Poor vampires. ;-;

Megumi's death was so horrible I had to take a break to do something pleasant. It still made me depressed for a few days though.

I thought this was sad too. But most Elfen Lied fans don't seem to feel sympathy/care for her. :(

Elfen Lied was a little too depressing for me as a whole, but this was definitely one of the most disturbing parts.
