Anime Question

New anime for a 12 year old girl?

I love the anime I have watched so far. The genre I usually like is: comedy, romance, fantasy, vampire, school, (1) horror etc. I have watched so far- death note, Lucky star, Karin, Ouran highschool host club, Soul eater, Fruits basket, Pokemon, Mew Mew Power, Princess Tutu, Vampire knight, Rosario + Vampire, Is this a zombie? (I think that's all) Ps. I don't like fighting animes just mainly girly ones except form some exceptions. Please do not say anything like sailor moon as I have no interest in it at all. Bye thanks for helping >w<

Ooh you've watched Death Note and Fruits Basket, I'm enjoying them! :D Ok well as I've probably said before countless times on various questions and articles on this Anime club, so much so that people are probably bored sick of me now...I personally like Azumanga Daioh. It was one of the first mangas I read, and is maybe my all-time favourite manga and anime. Unlike most animes it has virtually no storyline, documenting the day-to-day lives of six schoolgirls who are friends and kind of misfits in a way, all with very different personalities, so kind of a school life/comedy/slice of life anime. There is no romance or general mushy stuff, it is really funny and the characters are very likeable, trademark of Kiyohiko's funny-if-slightly-strange-at-times style.

Don't bother with the anime, if you want some Azumanga, read the manga...the anime sucks .-. the manga was amazing though XD

I don't think the Japanese sub version sucks, but according to the reviews the English dub version is supposed to be rather Americany and annoying.

Kuroshitsuji. That's my favorite anime. It has action, but it's still great.
Kotoura-san
Clannad/After Story
Little Busters!
Say "I Love You"
Sword Art Online
Amnesia
I don't consider these my favorites, but I'm trying to go with the type of anime you like.

Good choices! I watched Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne before. Just a warning, the animation isn't the best ^__^; if you like retro shoujo, go for it!!!

If you like Vampire, comedy and Fantasy then you should try Tsukuyomi Moon Phase. It's got a bit of romance too. Although, there is some fighting, but I would say it has less fighting then Soul Eater, Is This A Zombie? and Rosario Vampire.

Chobits is a romantic comedy. The plot is a bit slow at first, but it has a quite touching ending,

Spice and Wolf is Fantasy and Romance.

Clannad is, in my opinion, one of the best Romance anime ever. It can also be quite funny.

If you liked Lucky Star, then I would also recommend Azumanga Daioh. It's very similar. A high school comedy focusing on the lives of a unique group of girls.

K-On is also similar to the two mentioned above.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica is horror, but it's psychological not gore. I generally don't like horror, but this series was amazing. Short, but amazing.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a school comedy anime as well. It sort of has romance, but it's not very developed. It's still a great series though.

I would highly recommend you watch these. I could list more, but this list is already fairly large as it is. Besides, I only listed anime that I thought met your criteria and that I would give my highest ratings to.

I hope you find something you like!

If you like the girly ones, then I'd really recommend Peach Girl.

(the dub is quite good in this case, well, I watched this anime dubbed anyway).

Peach Girl mainly plays around a love triangle, and it really does keep you on edge wondering who she's going to be with in the end. Then of course there is the bitchy best friend in the story that is always causing trouble which makes it interesting x) The story is good and surprisingly addictive, I watched all 25 or so eps in one day xD One thing that may put you off is the drawing style, but once you get around that, it's really enjoyable :)
